The past and present of the Church points to a hopeful future
For decades, Barna has been tracking the state of the Church in America. Now, in partnership with Gloo, Barna is putting that knowledge and expertise into the hands of church leaders.
The State of the Church has been explored in various ways by Barna over the years, most recently through The State of Your Church, The State of the Church 2020 and The State of the Church 2016. Each project looked back on Barna's decades of research, exploring evergreen topics (like church attendance, tithing, the percent os Christians in the U.S., etc) while also adding new topics to the discussion (evangelism, deconstruction, digital vs. in-person, etc.).
Now Barna and Gloo are embarking on the latest addition to this ongoing research, The State of the Church 2025, in an effort to offer church leaders the data, insights and tools they need to measure what matters in their own ministry.
By understanding past data and exploring emerging trends, leaders and their congregations can be equipped to help point the Church toward a hopeful future.
